Hive Mind

Hive Mind was a lockdown project, inspired by the backing fabric which I purchased in Paris several years ago. The hexagonal pattern bringing to mind a beehive. Originally a single bee created as a brooch for a gift, I couldn't let go of the bee concept. So 22 bees later, Hive Mind emerged to represent working together through difficult times as we are more than the sum of our parts.

Hive Mind was created for and exhibited at the 2022 Broderer's Exhibition held at the Bankside Gallery in London from 22nd-27th March 2022.

The piece is worked in metal threads on black velvet and framed. Framed size: 58 x 47 cm

Hive Mind has sold, but prints are available on request  - please contact me for details.
