This Koi Pond Kit is a Beginners Embroidery kit suitable for all embroidery levels.

The design was inspired by the bowls filled with lily pads and koi fish often found in Japanese shrines and gardens. It is designed to be mounted into a 4" embroidery hoop.

The kit includes: Fabric with the design printed on, all the threads and needles required to complete the kit (and a needle threader) and full instructions on how to do all the stitches used in the kit.

With this kit you will learn the following stitches: Closed Fly Stitch, Open Fly Stitch, Woven Wheels, Stem Stitch, Chain Stitch and French Knots.

To complete the kit you will also need a 6" embroidery hoop and some embroidery scissors.
 
The finished kit fits perfectly into a 4" hoop, hoop mounting kits are available.
