This Stumpwork/Raised Work Embroidery Kit is suitable for all stitchers, including beginners.

Make yourself two silk covered macarons, that look good enough to eat!

Inspired by my niece’s obsession with these sweet treats, use Stumpwork techniques to create perfect patisserie.

The kits uses felt padding, Running Stitch, Lacing, Needlelace and Ladder Stitch to construct the macarons, including a silk filling and an optional cord so you can hang up your treats as a decoration.

The kit includes full written instructions and materials to make two silk covered macarons (raspberry and pistachio), including: Green and Pink silks, wool felt, Perle threads, sewing threads, needles and metal badge blanks that form the macaron shape.

No hoop required, but you will need a pair of embroidery scissors and scissors to cut fabric.

This kit is suitable for all stitchers aged 12+.
