Starman

Starman is my revisiting of my very first Shaded Blackwork piece. The original David was the first piece I worked where I realised I might be an artist as well as a technician, so it seemed appropriate to revisit him for an exhibition called The Art of Embrodiery.

Starman was created for and exhibited at the 2022 Broderer's Exhibition held at the Bankside Gallery in London from 22nd-27th March 2022.

The piece is worked in black and gilt metal threads on white linen, and framed. Framed size: 18 x 24 cm
